An Air Canada flight bound for Australia that left Vancouver early Thursday landed in Honolulu after turbulence injured several passengers.
Flight AC33 left Vancouver International Airport just before 1 a.m. Thursday and was to fly direct to Sydney, a 15-hour journey.
Two hours past Hawaii, the plane was met with "unforecasted and sudden turbulence" and the Boeing 777-200LR turned around around and headed for Honolulu's Daniel K. Inouye International Airport...
