Updated 13:28 Local (17:28 UTC) - July 27, 2019 - Follow the DEMO A220-300 aircraft flight to Asia live here https://www.flightradar24.com/BBA508/2175690c as it landed in South Korea - Will Korean Air place a 2nd order for more A220 aircraft? A quick note to let you know…
Leaving for Asia tomorrow from the US (Wichita) is Airbus demo A220-300 aircraft (FTV8, MSN 55002). Where in Asia? Interesting… Stay tuned…
Also, Airbus is working on the A220-300 steep approach certification… looking good with that new paint done in UK… That is MSN 55001, aka FTV7 (see picture of it on the coffee mug above... go ahead order that mug, you deserve it... ;-) The A220-100 is already certified for steep approach. This presently allows SWISS to currently land (and serve) London City Airport LCY (downtown) with their A220-100 aircraft. Could their A220-300 also be used for that airport after the certification? A good question for SWISS… or is it jetBlue? Or?
Next week is the week, I'm hearing... For what? For Air France to make official its A220 order. What about Spirit you asked?
Sorry… got to go… very busy these days and not enough time between flying C-GMRW and riding my Harley Davidson Road King classic, between some other things… Any woman who would like to be flying or riding with me? hey, contact me... I'm easy to find and single. About boys? Sorry, I'm hetero... there you go, I just did my coming out!
More soon on the CF-18 replacement bid and what is going on in the Ottawa area in Canada, and it is not nice! Yes, the Federal Government of Canada who is in charge (really?) of selecting the new fighter aircraft to replace the old Canadian CF-18 (CF-188 officially). What is the CF-18? Here you go, just read this.
