Paris, France - Châteauroux Airport in France is the new home of 11 Airbus A380 jets from British Airways. The superjumbo invasion was probably too much for the airport. One of the A380s broke the asphalt beneath it upon its arrival.
British Airways owns twelve Airbus A380s in total. One of them is currently in Manila for maintenance. The other eleven have temporarily been withdrawn from the service due to the travel restrictions during the pandemic. They are currently being parked at the Châteauroux-Center Marcel Dassault airport in France.
So far, nine British Airways superjumbos have arrived in Châteauroux. The planes are lined up with covered engines in the French province.
