JP Morgan did point toward this subject today.
JP Morgan: "… potential for COMAC to buy or team with BCA as China seeks to establish a world-class Aero capability. In exchange for Bombardier's technical know-how, COMAC would provide financing for the CSeries and also drive demand, which has been negligible in China thus far… the prospect of COMAC gaining Bombardier's capabilities might prompt Boeing or Airbus to look at Bombardier Aerospace as well."
Added to this, the Chinese did also offer nearly $7-8 Billion for the Transport division lately.
Start totalling this using my Chinese abacus and dividing this by the number of shares the company has…
With the exponential market exposure Airbus, Boeing or COMAC (Chinese's market alone is so huge!) would create, does it make this an amazing opportunity? But are they the only ones....... ?
Now that "a perfect leak" made the world knows Bombardier is "Open for Business with New Partners" (that was a perfect way to let everyone know that you did receive offers and you might become someone else's new worst nightmare) and that everyone is welcome to bid/make their offer… Perfectly executed by Bombardier's management I would say. Chapeau!
Have fun, live long… and prosper!
