** According to sources, the closing of the CSeries transaction between Airbus, Bombardier and the government of Québec is taking more time than expected and could take up to 4 more weeks to close. The end of June is to be expected.
Question: Is there any disagreement between Airbus and the Government of Quebec regarding some of the conditions? Stay tuned for more...
Also, SWISS CS300 MSN 55030 mentioned below would not be leaving on May 31 but on June first. airBaltic MSN 55034 is still leaving on May 31 around 18:00 local (22:00 UTC) from Mirabel airport.
Tomorrow May 31, 2018, two CSeries aircraft should be delivered. Leaving on May 31th is next SWISS CS300 MSN 55030. Later on the same day should be next Korean Air CS300 MSN 55031.
With the closing of the Airbus-Bombardier-Quebec Government transaction providing Airbus with the effective control of the CSeries now ready to be executed, closing at the end of the day tomorrow, May 31, providing a fresh beginning of the month start, the first Airbus CSeries client would be airBaltic with their next CS300, MSN 55034.
It will be the first CSeries delivered to a client under the ownership of Airbus.
On Monday June 4 expect to see airBaltic CS300 MSN 55034 flying for its acceptance flight. Its ferry should be soon after or close to Thursday June 7. This would represent the First Airbus CSeries Client.
Saturday June 2 nd should be the "First" first flight of a CSeries under the ownership and management of Airbus Canada. This is another SWISS CS300 (or A230?) MSN 55033.
Currently Bombardier has "expectations" to deliver 4 CSeries aircraft during the month of June.
Stay tuned to Fliegerfaust, as always, for more…
