"Everything is open for an expanded tender," says the CEO of Air France. "Will there be a real distinction between short-haul and medium-haul aircraft?
We are also looking at the Airbus A220 (former Bombardier CSeries). Everything is still possible.
"New parameter to take into account, how will the pilots and especially the passengers will apprehend the Boeing 737 MAX after the double accident which seems to reveal a defect of design? On the other hand, if the brands Air France and HOP! have become closer, the attachment of the pilots of the two companies is excluded, since the employment contracts are different. Integrate the HOP drivers! Air France would have a disproportionate cost, which would not find flexibility.
