- A Boeing 787 of the Norwegian company took off from Fiumicino with 298 passengers on board and headed for Los Angeles was forced by a motor failure to land in the Roman airport..
ROME - Damaged cars, as well as the roofs and tents of the balconies of the houses of Isola Sacra, near Fiumicino.
Not to mention a slightly burned passerby. But the damage could have been much worse: only a few more moments of flight and from the incandescent splinters the center of the town would have been interested.
Or the crowded beaches on the Roman coast. Seen from this perspective, therefore, it was a "lucky" accident: apart from the damages, no victims.
