Air Baltic has decided to establish in-house base maintenance capabilities as the Latvian carrier moves to an all-Airbus A220 fleet.
The airline plans to recruit some 50 technicians to start C-checks for the twinjets later this year, it says.
Today, the carrier conducts A-checks for its fleet at its Riga base, with its inventory also including Boeing 737-300/500s and Bombardier Q400 turboprops...
