Commercial aerospace giant Boeing is set to borrow $10 billion, according to Reuters, as the company's 737 MAX drama drags on.
Boeing doesn't appear to have a cash crunch just yet, but borrowing when there isn't an immediate need is a good idea.
It is much harder, as anyone who has ever lost a job knows, to borrow even against assets when a cash crunch is imminent. Still, the move leads to the question: What is the $10 billion for? Barron's has three ideas.
