In 2019: CAE Does Not Like Your Children If They Are "Boys", Right? - keep reading...

Young boys CAE hates you? CAE will not help you!
Why? You were born under the WRONG SEX it seems, but, really!? Read it all…
Read this from CAE web site: (by the way, there is no French version... more on this below...)
"Five CAE airline-mentored cadet training programs have been selected for this first edition of the CAE Women in Flight scholarship, and one scholarship will be granted per program."
"Five candidates will each receive a fully paid scholarship to cover the entire cost of their cadet pilot training, including accommodation and travel, applicable to one of CAE's participating airline-mentored cadet training programs. Upon successful completion of training, the selected candidates will either commence or have the opportunity to secure their first pilot job* and fly with one of the participating airlines."
"The airlines participating in this first edition of the CAE Women in Flight scholarship program are:
...CAE airline-mentored cadet training program associated to each participating airline.
Scholarship recipients will become CAE ambassadors and role models, entrusted to share their passion for aviation to inspire the next generation of women to join the aviation industry. CAE will follow the scholarship recipients throughout their journey to the flightdeck and their first few years as a professional pilot; providing regular updates through social media, and sharing their experience at aerospace and women in aviation events that they will attend.
What does it take to become a CAE Woman in Flight?"
"This one-of-a-kind program is competitive, and we are looking for women who demonstrate leadership, involvement in their communities, team-work abilities, communication skills, perseverance, and who love the thought of being at the command of an aircraft!"
As CAE wrote: "Encouraging women to pursue their dream as professional pilots. Encouraging women to pursue their dreams as professional pilot." Between you and me, women are not the only ones dreaming about becoming a professional pilot.
Hopefully you are not a man, because you just lost the chance to access to a lot of money and help in becoming a commercial aircraft pilot. Sounds just like when these shabby bars suddenly try to look good, where women get free drinks and perks but men, sweet nothing.
They call it gender equality, also known as sex equality. Am I joking?
As you might know, the aviation world is not a world controlled by men, where, by definition, women are not welcomed! Definitely not!
CAE wrote: "The CAE Women in Flight scholarship program encourages exceptional women to become professional pilots."
But as it goes, if you happen to be an exceptional man, CAE just does not want to help you and this is called discrimination. In Canada we allow for this, you did not know? See, CAE does it.
What is Discrimination?
Discrimination is an action or a decision that treats a person or a group badly for reasons such as their race, age, sex or disability. These reasons, also called grounds, are protected under the Canadian Human Rights Act.
"Grounds for Discrimination: race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age ,sex ,sexual orientation , gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, disability, genetic characteristics, a conviction for which a pardon has been granted or a record suspended…" Source https://www.chrc-ccdp.gc.ca/eng/content/what-discrimination
I grew up with a progressive mother, in a home where I had to take care of many things by myself, learn cooking at a very young age, do my laundry, wash the floors, etc… to become a man, a real independent man, not thinking that such menial things were strictly reserved for women. Equity is not to favor your girls over your boys either; What kind of message do you think it would send?
Class and civility still exist even in a world of sex equality! We can still act with manners, -for example, as a man I do open the door to a woman, but that's "my choice" and not "an obligation", which I think adds much more value to the gesture. I'm a feminist albeit one who thinks that feminism essentially resides in the equality of both genders, not in the discrimination of one over the other. This is the country we wanted and still want, I hope! If you are a feminist who hates men, stop reading further, you are going to hurt yourself.
In Quebec at least, we also managed to kick the religion out of our homes and politics! No longer telling us how to live, what to like, to do, to worship, to eat, who to vote for, how to have sex, how many children to have, and to believe in archaic legends from so many thousands of years ago… And who to give money to, especially! It's called EVOLUTION! Please do not regress. You ancestors WORKED HARD to build a country like the one you now have, and that is what you have to worship, don't go backward!
Why is CAE doing this? For the money? CAE is in the business of training pilots!
Equity means treating everyone one the same way, something CAE presently seems to care so much about, would you think? Why? For the money? Read further…
Please do remember that CAE is in the business of training pilots (not just building flight simulators) and that there is currently a shortage of pilots that will affect the aviation world for many years to come. This represents a shortage of people to train! Are you now getting to understand the spin here?
Having more women in the aviation world is not what matters here for CAE... What really matters is having much more pilots to train thus making more money training them.
Since such a very small percentage of woman are including the commercial aviation world in their career options, it makes perfect sense business wise to increase the propaganda toward women, -to awake them to the possibility of being a commercial pilot, to pitch and promote the idea among a brand new audience. Already, more women are becoming commercial pilots but for CAE there are many more left out there, to attract in this business and to train, to make money from. You get it now?
Pure marketing, sheer propaganda - Niccolò Machiavelli would probably give it an "A+"
So, all these reasons to be pro-woman, that they care about them, projecting the image of the savior coming on his horse (airplane?) to save them, to bring them to the top of the world (in the air) is just pure marketing, sheer propaganda. Will CAE tell us who thought up this plan? A man or a woman? Niccolò Machiavelli would probably give it an "A+".
Is CAE using discrimination based on the gender of your children, your girls and boys, your own children under a false pretense? You decide!
The first thing I learned growing up in a very poor environment was that life is not fair, but also that if you do not do anything about it, you will not get anywhere. We value work, effort, commitments, perseverance, honesty, results... As we say in French "aide toi et le ciel t'aidera" or in English "Help yourself and heaven will help you". By "heaven" here, I mean the people around you, the world. As CAE undertakes this dubious marketing stunt, you should now run for cover, since the sky will be falling flat on you, very soon, if you happen to be a boy in needs of their education grant.
Someone at CAE, in their great wisdom, has decided to rewrite the laws of nature. Since not as many girls are naturally/socially inclined in becoming commercial pilots, --as compared with a vastly larger number of boys--, CAE has decided to load the dices and trick the young boys. Now, you know why, don't you!
Women want to be treated equally, like men, not better, not worst
This is revolting. This type of discrimination based on the gender of individual is so stupid. Women want to be treated equally, like men, not better, not worst, the same! Hire the best from all the interested ones; simply, it is called "being FAIR". Offer them all the same chances and opportunities to education and training; never ever sidetrack a group in society so you just can make more money.
Is CAE teaching us here that DISCRIMINATION is OK when you want to make more money? If I were a woman I would feel being played!
As CAE wrote:
"The CAE Women in Flight scholarship program encourages exceptional women to become professional pilots." If you are an exceptional man CAE does not want to help you, it means. So sad.
One final thing… This is not for people in Quebec… the information page is only available in English. Both French and English link shows the English only information:
En Français : (so it should be but it is not) https://www.cae.com/fr/womeninflight
In English : https://www.cae.com/womeninflight/
CAE has its headquarters in Montreal, Quebec, its President & CEO is a francophone, Marc Parent.CAE Vice President, Public Affairs and Global Communications is Hélène V. Gagnon, another francophone.
Let's hope we keep going forward, not backward.
