Pratt & Whitney Canada Sues CAE for $2 Million

Montreal-based CAE reportedly failed to pay more than $ 1.7 million in royalties to Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC) of Longueuil, Quebec, Canada for the use of its data in the design of four flight simulators, accuses PWC in a lawsuit filed a few days ago at the courthouse in Montreal.
In total, the lawsuit filed by PWC requires just over $ 2 million of CAE, adding punitive damages of $ 100,000 and compensation of $ 200,000.
According to PWC's statement in its application, the two companies entered into an agreement in 2005 whereby PWC ceded to CAE the right to use a batch of data regarding its PW150A engine, which is included in Bombardier's Q400 turboprop aircraft...
