Rumour Mill update - CSeries Orders
(This is following my previous update at: http://www.fliegerfaust.com/cseries-update-2429161624.html)
It's been rare that I hear so many order stories coming around the CSeries.
Many things are cooking at Bombardier around the CSeries, and it smells good, it appears.
airBaltic might not be the only "already existing CSeries customer" planning on ordering more. Some from clients who did not receive any yet… Fascinating! Also from another one who just bought a CSeries simulator from CAE it seems (their current order size does not justify buying a simulator, you get the picture).
Le Bourget could be a place for interesting news. This time Bombardier might be planning for things to happen "during" the event. As a side note, something interesting would be to get from SWISS the first 11 months operational data of their CSeries… Could it be a nice money making aircraft?
I'm hearing there are customers wanting to place orders but want CSeries delivery quickly. Could there be any expansion coming from the existing CSeries dedicated building? Current utilization of some CRJ hangars is already happening but the CRJ itself might be getting some large orders soon, can't provide more space to CSeries… (looking up to the west, the sky seems nice...) how would that go? Interesting problems to solve when you get "too many" orders, more than you've planned for… Music to my ears… like the good smell of jet fuel... never want to be running out if it.
Where from? Asia, America, or yes USA (sorry Boeing), Middle East, Europe... ...
Also heard rumors of clients wanting to order some CSeries a bit longer than the current CS300…
The next few weeks should prove to be very exciting with "News", a time where Bombardier is back into the green, profitable.
The Global 7000 program is going ahead nicely, to the speed of sound in fact! Can't imagine the amount of orders pilling up for this new top of the line business jet jewel! But "Private" jets orders are… private! Could one of the current Global 7000 FTV cross the ocean for Le Bourget? Ok, I'm dreaming…
As you know, airBaltic CSeries MSN 55006 (55 are CS300) left a few days ago, Friday. That is the one that will be at Le Bourget. The next CSeries to be delivered is MSN 55007, it flew a few times for its pre-delivery inspection by Bombardier test pilots, as usual. It will fly again within the next 2 days and should then be available for airBaltic for their inspection and client acceptance flight. At the same time, MSN 55011 (SWISS) is almost ready for its First Flight and MSN 55008 (airBaltic) is coming right behind it with MSN 55009 (airBaltic) almost painted etc… Bombardier CSeries production is ramping up at nice speed… compared to a few weeks/months ago.
Bombardier Transport could have some news of its own also in the next few weeks…
Again, to you all at Bombardier, proud of you all around the world! I know, stressful times, more for some than others... no pain, no gain! Keep the head up!
