15:42 Update : airBaltic 4th CSeries CS300 55006 YL-CSD mode-S C02745 Leaving between 16:30 and 18:00 Local time (Mirabel YMX Today!)
Ah... I see nice progression at the CSeries factory! We got two deliveries (oops I should wait for the end of the afternoon today, but, I can tell you) in a week! Yes, after SWISS first CS300 msn 55010 delivery less than a week ago, we have airBaltic 4th CS300 msn 55006 leaving Mirabel later this afternoon, yes today! (before the date I released earlier... wow)
Also! airBaltic 5th CS300, 55007, should be
doing its First Flight by tomorrow. SWISS 2nd CS300, 55011, doing its First Flight the following week-end (got to let that fresh paint dry, I can smell it from here!)
Basically, we can ("I" would say) see that the production had Ramped Up in the previous weeks to get to the "delivery" point Bombardier is with CSeries at the moment. Meaning, suppliers are getting "better?"… As you might have read on fliegerfaust.com, Zodiac, supplier of the CSeries interior, is hiring another 150 people at their Montreal factory…
Yesterday and today we've seen SWISS pilots training at Mirabel airport aboard FTV2 performing Steep Approach/Landing that will be used on regular SWISS flights to London City Airport very soon. Another PLUS for the CSeries aircraft. (British Airways reading me?)
Bombardier might be dealing with customers (I mean not yet customer of the CSeries) trying to get aircraft delivery before the currently available delivery slots, prior 2019, faster paced. Let's see if Bombardier can increase/duplicate its delivery slots or manage to convince those to wait for their aircraft… In my mind, that's a beautiful problem to solve for Bombardier… think about it…
Ah… Le Bourget… Bonjour! Yes, a CSeries CS300 will be present. The question is… what color will it be? My small finger is pointing to the green! (airBaltic msn 55006) Also, will there be any orders? Let's see what does "mr u-turn".
I will not be talking about COMAC, where it fits with Bombardier and the CSeries technologies, the Bombardier Flight Test Center group in charge of aircraft certifications...
More soon… just stay tuned to http://www.fliegerfaust.com and it's free… (Meaning, if you have a complaint, that department is underfunded and closed)
