So far, the tranquil Graz, with 330,000 inhabitants, has been known to visitors for the medieval main square, the dreamy narrow streets with their numerous historical buildings and the clock tower, which sits enthroned at the top of the Schlossberg.
For two years now, the southern Austrian city has also been offering an attraction for aviation enthusiasts: the Nova Park aircraft hotel.
The hotel of the Graz businessman Helmut Neukam is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. But it has only recently become an attraction, even if the idea had been around for a long time: 23 years ago, the businessman and aviation fan had the idea of buying two used aircraft that would become the hotel's bar and restaurant.
